Spinner Suitcase Line Development

In early 2017, Thule approached Ideaz to expand their line of travel gear with something they did not yet have anywhere in their product portfolio: a 4-wheeled “spinner” travel suitcase.

Despite being an incredibly well-established, trusted brand, the ever-increasing popularity of “spinner” bags meant that Thule needed to quickly get up-to-speed on the technical challenges and nuances of designing for this category, or else lose significant ground to their competitors.

Ideaz’ wealth of experience in this area would make them an ideal partner to guide the project from its initial conception, all the way through to production transition.
