Brēth

Plant-Based Air Purification

While indoor air quality is a priority for optimal health, most appliances are filter and fan based. Brēth (pronounced “breathe”) is different. It’s an indoor air purifier that actively feeds plants toxins and carbon dioxide in the air around it. The system provides ultraviolet light, water and active airflow to three small plants, fertilizing them and providing the clean-air equivalent of nearly 200 plants.

Brēth partnered with Ideaz to design and engineer its tabletop sized air purifier and take it far enough to launch a fund-raising campaign on Kickstarter. The project was funded on Kickstarter, nearly tripling its pledge goal through the support of nearly 800 backers.
